I'm Back!

I have been absent from my blog recently, I have been so busy with shoots, and exciting projects that I cant wait to tell you all about! 

p.s take a look at my new necklace I picked up from Topshop, I'm really into chunky gold jewellery and this piece reminded me of Rose's diamond heart necklace in the Titanic film.

Zara A/W 12 Campaign

I came across the new Zara website  whilst internet shopping last night, I found myself refreshing the page about 1000 times especially on the TRF page featuring model Cara Delevingne I am mesmerised by her! she is freaking gorgeous! Freja Beha Erichsen also features in the new A/W 12 campaign. What I love most is Zara always have trendy designs which are affordable. 

Lana Del Rey for H&M

Lana Del Rey models soft sweaters and knits for the winter ad campaign for H & M, shot by photographers Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin. Recently this year Del Rey collaborated with one of my favourite rappers A$AP ROCKY channeling both Marilyn Monroe and Jackie Kennedy in the music video for the song 'national anthem' If I could steal one feature from Del Rey it would have to be her pout full lips..what would you steal from LDR? <3 **hottttie alert!**

Pinky

Photographer Darren Hall shoots ageless pink lady and dancehall queen, Pinky. I came across this article on I-D online. Instantly fell in love with her she is such a diva! 

This is Pinky from Brixton. She laughs when you ask her age and can’t remember where her clothes are from but has the best answer to “define your style” we’ve ever heard: “I just put on what the universe tells me to”. So pretty in pink, Pinky is a dancehall queen, big on the dancehall scene. She describes herself as “compassionate, righteous. sunshine, harmony and love” and claims she’s always falling in love. Her favourite song at the moment is Jeremiah “Down on Me”, featuring 50 Cent about bumping and grinding but it’s the beat she’s after. Pinky hopes for “peace, love, equal rights and justice for all”. She’s going out this weekend but who knows where, depends on what the universe says. She’s Destiny’s child.

Definitely on my winter wish list this year is a pair of DM's I used to have a pair when I was about 5 years old they were patent black snakeskin I used to wear them with almost every outfit my mum dressed me in! I was a trendy little lady!! I cant make my mind up which I am going to buy, but here are a few options I have been considering. What is on your winter wishlist?

Noctis Magazine

So today I shot a story for Noctis Magazine, which I briefly explained in my last post, with MUA Ione Mckenzie and model Kinga Dolecka I got some insane shots, i cant share them all with you until they are published, but here is a sneak preview!

Obsession

I am shooting a story for Noctis Magazine , the theme is based around the idea of obsession, I am sooo excited to be using clothing designed by the very talented young lady Miss Mary Benson I met Mary during my year diploma at Leeds college of art. Now Mary is based in London and her designs have been featured in Drapers, 180 Mag, POSI+TIVE, Style Bubble , The Guardian, BBC Television and so on. Keep your eyes peeled I will be posting a sneak preview from the shoot next week!

Rainbow Hair

  

First we all fell in love with the ombre hair trend, and now its gone to another level with rainbow brights, I keep coming accorss beautiful editorials featuring models with different shades of hair colours, I would love to dye my hair a pastel shade of  lilac or mint green.
